Collection: Traditional Teas

Traditional Teas are True Tea.  All true tea is made from the leaves of Camellia sinensis, also called the Tea plant.  Green, Black, Oolong, Matcha, Sencha, Gunpowder, Darjeeling, and all of the other millions of tea varieties all come from the same plant. It is the processing method, and sometimes the region it is made,  that makes each tea unique. 

The term 'tea' is often used to describe, although incorrectly, any beverage made from a plant.  So we like to refer to those as 'herbal teas' or infusions.
